What is the NSTI Program?

The NSTI program is a nation-level program for S&T resources open, cosharing and utilization efficiently. Optimizing allocation of S&T resources brings a new way for promoting the comprehensive utilization of S&T resources. For the first five years, the total funding for the NSTI program has reached RMB 2.8 billions, which went to six S&T resource-gathering areas including R&D bases and large-scale equipments & instruments, S&T natural resources, scientific data, S&T literature, technology transfer and S&T network collaborative environment. Till now, about 25 NSTI platforms have been established and opened for service.
